This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. This course offers a progression of skills and knowledge developed in the Level 2 hairdressing course. Designed as a practical course based in our commercial salon, learning will be underpinned by essential theoretical learning and an insight into the financial responsibility of running a business. This is an intensive course, which places high demands on the individual with regard to the level of self-motivation, dedication and enthusiasm required. Individuals must be willing to undertake a significant amount of self-directed study to reach their full potential. All the units in this qualification directly prepare learners for further study in the hair and beauty sector.
This qualification is the equivalent of up to 112 UCAS points.
Progression routes may include a career in hairdressing at a more senior level, or advance you existing career. Further beauty related qualifications. Self employment or working in the wedding, film or theatre industries.
