This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. The Level 3 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing Apprenticeship is designed to support those who wish to develop their skills in a specialised area, by learning more creative and advanced techniques.
This course will enable learners to increase the number of services that they can provide and encourage creativity and individuality. You will learn advanced hair styling techniques like creative cutting and sectioning, smoothing and straightening, advanced colour conversion and client consultation.
Senior Management/Leadership qualifications or roles.
The qualification is comprised of several units. A unit describes what is expected of a candidate in particular aspects of their job.
Each unit is divided into learning outcomes, these describe the skills and knowledge that a candidate should possess.
Each learning outcome has a set of assessment criteria (performance, knowledge and understanding) which specify the desired criteria which must be satisfied before an individual can be said to have performed to the agreed standard.
Range statements define the breadth or scope of a learning outcome and its assessment criteria by setting out the various circumstances in which they are to be applied.
The summative assessments for the qualifications require the candidate to undertake practical tasks and knowledge and understanding tasks in an assignment or complete on-line tests.
No formal entry requirements however, you will be interviewed and a decision made as to your suitability to the programme.
