This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. A 1-year course which gives you the opportunity to study Early Years alongside Health and Social Care. Designed to support you in your progression to higher vocational study in your chosen area.
Study a Level 3 in your chosen vocational area, progress into paid employment or an apprenticeship.
You will study units such as;
Working in health and social care
Human growth and development
Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
Importance of play for early learning
You will be assessed on a portfolio of evidence, made up of practical observations, placement visits, assignments, reports, worksheets and reflections.
At least 2 GCSEs at 2 or above, ideally to include maths and/or English
