This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. This course allows individuals to learn about the care needs of a wide range of people of all ages and from all backgrounds. Students will be able to put their new skills into practice during their work placement opportunity. On completion of this programme individuals will have a nationally recognised qualification which can help with progression to the T Level Health (Adult Nursing) or the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care. Progression rates onto level 3 are high, due to the support, encouragement and challenge that the level 2 students receive from our dedicated team of specialist teachers. All the units in this qualification directly prepare learners for further study in the hair and beauty sector.
Progression routes may include T Level Health (Adult Nursing), Level 3 in Health & Social Care or in Childcare – Early Years Educator.
Employment options may include health care assistant, domcillary care, support worker or personal assistant.
