About the course

The Level 2 course will develop your skills in preparation, cooking and presentation of a variety of food groups. You will learn to work as part of a team in the College’s industry standard kitchen and restaurant. As part of your course you will also complete a period of industry work experience with an employer. You will have the opportunity to take part in events, visits and competitions which will enable you to gain valuable experience and to understand the expectations of future employers.

What qualification will I gain?

Level 2 Diploma in Hospitality & Catering.

A minimum of four GCSE’s at Grade 4 – including Maths and English or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 within Hospitality and Catering and good progress with English and Maths
