About the course

If you would like to be involved in teaching in the lifelong learning sector then this course is for you. This short 14 week programme provides participants with an introduction to teaching in the lifelong learning sector. It is ideally suited to those who are new to teaching and wish to have a short taster of what a teaching role involves. This is a really interesting programme which is delivered in a supportive environment.

Entry requirements

  • No previous teaching experience is necessary

  • Candidates need to have a Level 2 qualification in their vocational area

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (at least Level 1 in numeracy and Level 2 in literacy)

  • If you are already teaching or intend to teach then a current DBS is essential
