This course is for individuals who operate tractors as part of their work. It will provide the individual with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare and operate a tractor and attachments safely and to industry standards in line with current legislation.
The course covers: safe driving of a tractor; pre-use maintenance; safety checks and recognition of controls and instruments. The test covers the use of the tractor in a range of situations, including reversing, trailer hitching, attaching a 3 point linkage and PTO driven attachments.
Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Tractor Driving and Related Operations
Candidates may be interested in The L2 Award in Telehandler/ Forklift Truck Operations.
