Going the Distance
Animal Care Lecturer Joan Martin has completed the grueling Chester Ultra 50-mile race, tackling an impressive 849 meters of ascent along the way. This extraordinary endurance challenge is a remarkable feat, demonstrating not only physical resilience but incredible determination. We are immensely proud of Joan’s achievement. What an inspiration!
Shaping National Conversations
Agriculture and Forestry Lecturer Matthew Gardner was recently invited to speak in Parliament, contributing his expertise to discussions on grazing animals in relation to a bill concerning the Malvern Hills Conservators. Champion of the Forge
Blacksmithing and Welding Lecturer Josh Masey has been recognised on a national stage, winning first prize and being crowned Live Forging Champion at the National Blacksmithing Committee Competition, held at Holme Lacy College, home of the National School of Blacksmithing. His winning piece, “Ace of Spades”, created to the theme “Puns & Double Meanings”, showcased exceptional creativity and craftsmanship.
