Two Holme Lacy College students have achieved outstanding success at the 44th International Team Farriery Competition, held on the 27th of September at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry.
This prestigious annual event brought together 13 teams from around the world, all competing for the title of the best in international farriery.
In the Apprentice Team Competition, Team England took the top spot, with two of the four team members being Holme Lacy College students — Ethan Rolfe and Freddie Ravenscroft.
Both students also excelled individually. In the Apprentice Individual Competition, Ethan Rolfe secured 1st place, while Freddie Ravenscroft achieved an impressive 3rd place finish.
Their success is a fantastic reflection of their dedication, skill, and the high standard of training offered at Holme Lacy College. The college community is incredibly proud of Ethan and Freddie’s achievements and looks forward to seeing their continued progress in their farriery careers.
