Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College (HLNSC) Adult and Community Education team is looking for enthusiastic, inspirational and experienced part-time casual community education tutors to teach in schools and community venues throughout Shropshire. This post would particularly suit those looking for flexible working hours; including those who wish to return to teaching or are interested in pursuing a career working in the adult and community education sector.
We are particularly looking for tutors who would be able to teach in at least one or more or the following subject areas:
- Family learning courses including: Family English, Maths and Language (ESOL) courses
- Creative art and craft courses with embedded English and maths skills
- Personal development courses such as basic cookery, wellbeing and family first aid
- Functional Skills English and maths courses from entry level to level 2
The pay rate is: £24.15 – £25.50 per hour for unqualified staff
Or £25.50 – £26.48 for qualified staff
A teacher training qualification would be available for those who are interested in becoming a qualified teacher.
