RURAL & LAND BASED SHORT COURSE TUTOR
£24.15-£26.48 per hour dependent upon qualifications and experience

As part of the ongoing development and growth of our land-based short course provision, we are currently seeking to recruit hourly paid tutors to deliver short courses to the local and wider community.
Holme Lacy College, based just outside Hereford, is set above the beautiful River Wye, and boasts a stunning 247 hectare estate comprising of an organic mixed farm, woodlands, orchards, lakes, animal care, and equestrian centres. We are particularly interested in expanding on our current provision to include short courses in rural crafts, animal care, wildlife and conservation, and would welcome the opportunity to discuss opportunities with those holding expertise in these areas.
All courses run subject to a minimum enrolment target. Classes usually run for one day on a Saturday, during holidays or two hours a week on evenings at our Holme Lacy College campus. Classes are typically aimed at beginners or those with only a little experience in the subject. Students are adults from 19 to 90+!
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of their subject and credible experience as a practitioner. They should also possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have a passion for sharing their subject. Please identify the subject you can offer in your application and include an outline of the proposed content and delivery plan.
