Speller Metcalfe commits to future construction talent through college patron scheme
Herefordshire College are pleased to announce the continued support of leading construction company Speller Metcalfe through its patron scheme, strengthening a partnership dedicated to developing the next generation of construction professionals.
As part of a programme of activity for the 26/27 academic year, Speller Metcalfe will work closely with students and staff across the college’s construction provision, providing industry insight, real world learning opportunities and direct engagement with one of Herefordshire’s most respected construction businesses.
The partnership will see Speller Metcalfe support a wide range of activities throughout the year, including guest speaker sessions, site visits, work experience placements, industry workshops and participation in curriculum review and advisory board activities. The company will help ensure students develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required by today’s construction industry, while also helping the college shape courses that reflect current and emerging sector needs.
