Work Experience Placement at Morrisons
Zoe spent one week working across several departments at her local Morrisons store. She worked in the garden centre, café, and fresh food section. This gave her a clear understanding of how a busy retail store operates day to day.
Gaining Real-World Retail Experience
During her placement, Zoe built a range of practical skills. In the garden centre, she helped customers and supported stock organisation. In the café, she assisted with customer service and food preparation. In the fresh food section, she learned about stock rotation, hygiene, and fast-paced working.
In addition, the experience helped her grow in confidence. She also developed stronger communication and teamwork skills.
