This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. This Level 3 T Level course gives learners a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare sector, providing a balance between classroom learning and hands-on experience in the healthcare sector. A wide range of experiences provides learners with valuable insight into a rewarding career within a sector that is always in demand. Tutors support learners to develop essential knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required to work within the sector. The course includes a core set of underpinning knowledge, concepts and skills tailored for the industry and an occupation specific pathway in adult nursing. Industry and occupational specific content is delivered, as well as specialist content, which will ensure students are excellently prepared for their next steps whether that be employment, apprenticeships or further training and study. This qualification is the equivalent of up to 168 UCAS Points.
T Level in Health
On the successful completion of the T Level. Students could progress to employment within a healthcare environment or apply for university courses in a range of fields within the healthcare sector.

T-Levels are available for 16 to 19-year-old students. They are also available to students up to the age of 24 who have an education, health, or care plan.
• Equivalent to 3 A Levels, the course meets industry requirements and offers a mixture of classroom learning and industry placement.
• The course contains an industry placement with an employer focused on developing the practical and technical skills required for the occupation. These will last a minimum of 315 hours (approximately 45 days) but can last longer. Within the placement there will be an employer-set project.
A minimum of five GSCEs at grade 4, including English and maths or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit grade and good progress with English and maths, ideally GCSE grade 4 or equivalent.
