This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. * Fees are chargeable each year and the fees quoted will be for the current year only, if the course is more than 1 year further fees will be due next year.
This course is an excellent opportunity for students to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of horse care and riding through both practical and theory-based sessions. The course includes valuable work experience, which will enable students to develop reliable practical skills in the equine industry and on the College equine yard. All students participate in yard duties throughout the year alongside their main programme of study.
Progression routes may include Level 3 in Horse Management.
Employment options may include: competition groom, riding schools and livery yards, competition yards, racing industry or equine retail industry.
