This is an ideal course for those who enjoy the practical aspects of science and are looking to pursue a career in science. It is equivalent to an A level and complements other science A level subjects. You will develop your science investigation skills and laboratory techniques, whilst operational units could lead you to explore biomedical science and/or forensic science.
Progression routes may include science degrees and other professional development programmes.
Employment options may include lab technician or paramedic, research work, forensic science work, and the chemical industry.
