What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Call handling in a busy environment
  • Offering high levels of customer service
  • Logging end user customer and serial number details on CRM and registering warranties
  • Liaising with customers regarding engineer appointments ,checking engineer availability and booking appointments
  • Identifying spares items ,processing orders and taking payments over the phone
  • Using technical reference files and User/Installation guides to answer queries from engineers, our dedicated retailers and
  • end users
  • Finding additional information from production engineers/quality team/warehouse team where required.
  • Updating technical reference guides.

Qualifications

GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade Grade 4/C or above) desirable

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Subject to Apprentice’s strength/s identified, ongoing personal development will be structured and part of their role.
On completion of a successful apprenticeship, the appointment could be permanent.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration
  • This will also include Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
  • End point assessment
  • Certificate of completion of the standard.
  • You may have to attend formal college sessions (if English & maths are required).
  • You will learn the knowledge, skills and behaviours related to the apprenticeship standard.
