The role:
- As an Agricultural Equipment Manufacturer, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and operation of various agricultural machinery and equipment. This includes Reach Arm Mowers, rotary mowers, flail mowers and remote control range of products. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring that products are built according to customer specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Key responsibilities:

Fabrication: Fabricate parts and components for agricultural equipment using tools such as welders, cutters, and CNC machines, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.

Assembly: Assemble agricultural machinery and equipment by following detailed blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications. Install parts such as engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.

Operation: Operate machines and tools required for the manufacturing and assembly process, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production of agricultural equipment.

Following Instructions: Adhere to written and verbal instructions from supervisors, engineers, and production planners to ensure proper assembly and manufacturing procedures are followed.

Obtaining Workplace Documentation: Maintain and access necessary workplace documentation, including engineering drawings and parts lists to ensure correct assembly and production processes.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Use protective equipment and ensure that the machinery is operated safely at all times.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and production planners, to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow in the manufacturing process.
Desired skills:
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with fabrication tools and machinery used in manufacturing.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in equipment and machinery.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring and assembling components to meet specifications.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy parts, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and engineers.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding of workplace safety and commitment to following safety guidelines.
- Previous Experience (Preferred): Experience in manufacturing, particularly with agricultural or industrial equipment, is a plus.

- GCSE at grade 4/C or above in English and maths
