Creative Learning – Walsingham Support

Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College (HLNSC) is pleased to announce its partnership with Creative Learning – Walsingham Support, in Ledbury, through the college’s patron scheme, further strengthening opportunities for Health and Care students across Herefordshire.

Creative Learning – Walsingham Support has been a supporter of HLNSC, and the partnership for 2026/27 academic year will provide students with a range of employer led experiences designed to enrich learning, develop employability skills and ensure curriculum content remains aligned with industry practice.

Working alongside Hannah Hall, Creative Learning Manager, the partnership will focus on providing work experience opportunities, student visits, guest speaking sessions and curriculum development support across Health programmes.

As part of the programme, Health students will have the opportunity to visit during the Autumn Term, gaining first-hand insight into the health and care sector, exploring career pathways and learning about current industry practices. Creative Learning – Walsingham Support will also deliver guest speaking sessions, helping students understand the realities, rewards and challenges of working within the sector.

The partnership will continue throughout the year with ongoing work experience and placement opportunities, enabling learners to gain valuable practical experience in a professional environment while developing the confidence, skills and behaviours expected by employers.

Creative Learning – Walsingham Support will collaborate with curriculum to review Health provision across the college, helping to ensure programmes remain current, responsive to workforce needs and informed by emerging practices and technologies within the sector.

Hannah Hall, Creative Learning Manager, said: “We are proud to formalise our relationship with the college and support the next generation of health and care professionals. We hope that in offering visits, placements and industry insight, we inspire students and help them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for successful careers in the sector.”

Julia Edmunds, Head of Projects and Business Development at HLNSC, added “Partnerships such as this help us create links between education and industry. Walsingham Support offers fantastic opportunities for our students to gain insight into careers within health and care. We are pleased to be working together and grateful for their support“.
