Attended by local schools and businesses as well as representatives from the Oswestry Life magazine and Oswestry Bid the evening saw students working in the newly refurbished – Hair and Beauty salons, Science laboratory, Plumbing and Electrical workshops. Guests enjoyed a tour of the facilities as well as canapes made and served by students studying Hospitality and Catering.
Melanie Taylor, Assistant Principal, gave a presentation which highlighted that Ofsted recognised outstanding behaviours and attitudes of our students, as well as the excellent opportunities that the college provided for local students and those from further afield.
Sharon Cooper, Curriculum Team leader commented “The college received fantastic feedback from those who attended and it was lovely to foster links within the local community to further raise the profile of the college”.
