This Level 3 course is specifically designed to enable students to develop the knowledge and study skills to progress into Higher Education. It will include UCAS application and interview preparation. The Health Professions pathway includes a placement unit to give students not currently working in the sector the experience they need to gain a place at university. The course is specifically designed to accommodate those with family or work commitments and includes approximately 14 hours taught and 20 self-study hours per week. There will be a variety of assessments to develop the skills needed to succeed at university. The number of Tariff points varies between 48 and 144 points dependent on your grade profile.
Access to HE Diploma (Health Professionals)
BSc Degree in topics such as Adult Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science, Occupational Therapy, Paediatric Nursing or Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care.
