This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. This advanced Level 3 course will help you learn practical skills and competencies with a broad range of animals to prepare you for work or university. Throughout the programme you will have the chance to make a variety of visits. You will also have guest speakers throughout the year linking to your course units. The course is suited to both school leavers and mature students who have relevant experience within the industry and who have a genuine interest in animal welfare and management.
Level 3 T Level in Animal Care.
Study options may include degree courses like Animal Behaviour & Welfare, Zoology and Ecology & Conservation. Employment options may include lab technician, zoo keeper or wildlife conservationist, animal behaviourist, animal training specialist, pet shop supervisor, RSPCA inspector or trainee veterinary nurse.

T-Levels are available for 16 to 19-year-old students. They are also available to students up to the age of 24 who have an education, health, or care plan.
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and/or maths or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit grade and good progress with English and maths. Students without grades 9-4 in GCSE English and maths must demostrate good attendance to English and maths lessons and must attend all GCSE exams.
