An introductory course covering the basic essential skills to become a professional chef and a pathway to further studies such as an apprenticeship or a career in the hospitality industry. You will also complete a period of industry work experience with an employer and take part in events and competitions which will enable you to gain valuable experience.
Progression from this course could lead to a Level 2 Professional Cookery course or apprenticeship programme, or employment in a junior role within the hospitality industry, such as a commis chef.
