About the course

This course is ideal for people who want to work in the early years industry or progress to university-level courses with a Level 3 qualification. Over the two-year period, students will cover fourteen core and specialist units to enhance their knowledge of the world of working with children aged 0-8 years in a variety of settings. You will be provided with the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge within a range of work-related contexts through weekly work experience placements.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (grade C) or above, including English and one creative GCSE such as Art and Design or Art Technology. Mature students may apply with a portfolio of work for consideration.
