Course Content
The course will enable you to develop skills on how to follow amigurumi patterns (toy patterns) resulting in lovely keepsake toys. By the end of the course you will be confident in making tiny items up to large cuddly items.
The course is designed primarily for someone with basic crocheting skills, however beginners would be welcome.
By the end of the course you can expect to be able to do the following:
- Read a pattern in US terminology and then translate it into UK terminology
- Confidently sew a project together
- Confidently join colours
- Produce a completed toy
You will need: A materials list will be sent to each student. It will include details about wool, crochet hooks and other items required.

About the tutor: “My name is Tanya and I have been crocheting for about 4 years. Over this time I have made all sorts of toys, ranging from tiny turtles up to large flamingos. I love giving them as gifts and keepsakes; they are personal and unique. Crocheting is also one of the best forms of relaxation where you get something cute at that end to keep.”
Course Costs
Tuition fee: £60.00 (this includes a charge for additional materials of £10.00)
Additional costs: You will need to purchase materials as indicated on the list sent to you.
