About the course

This Level 3 course is designed to further develop the practical skills and theoretical understanding of engineering in the modern world. The focus of this course is on the skills and understanding associated with modern engineering concepts and products, the materials associated with them and the techniques used to service, repair and manufacture them. You’ll further develop your skills in our fantastic workshops, using a range of specialist equipment, under the guidance of our expert staff, who have extensive industrial experience in the engineering sector. This qualification is the equivalent of up to 168 UCAS Points.

Entry requirements

GCSE grade 5 in maths, and a minimum of four other GSCEs at grade 4, including English, or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit grade and good progress with English and maths, ideally GCSE grade 4 or equivalent.
