About the course

A brief introduction to the world of forensic investigation, from the initial crime scene examination, to securing a conviction of the perpetrator. The course will be run by an ex Police Detective, with experience of working in a real crime scene and dealing with offenders and victims of crime.

Course content:

  • Theories of forensic investigation

  • Identifying and preserving a crime scene

  • Types of forensic evidence

  • New technology in fighting crime

  • Strategies of gathering and recording evidence for a crime file

  • Catching and convicting an offender
