A brief introduction to the world of forensic investigation, from the initial crime scene examination, to securing a conviction of the perpetrator. The course will be run by an ex Police Detective, with experience of working in a real crime scene and dealing with offenders and victims of crime.

Identifying and preserving a crime scene
Types of forensic evidence
New technology in fighting crime
Strategies of gathering and recording evidence for a crime file
Catching and convicting an offender
