This is a workshop style session. You will work at your own speed with a plan tailored to you and your needs. One-to-one support and teaching are available from the teacher.
1. Functional Skills English will help you with problem-solving and critical thinking.
2. Achieving Functional Skills English qualifications can be a stepping-stone to further education and training. The qualification is recognised by employers and educational institutions and is required for vocational qualifications and apprenticeships.
3. Many employers value the practical skills gained from Functional Skills English, as they are directly applicable to the workplace.

This course is free for all learners over the age of 19 who do not currently have a GCSE Grade C/Grade 4 or above in English.
