This is a workshop style session. You will work at your own speed with a plan tailored to you and your needs. One-to-one support and teaching are available from the teacher.

– Achieving Functional Skills English qualifications can be a stepping-stone to further education and training. The qualification is recognised by employers and educational institutions and is required for vocational qualifications and apprenticeships.
– Many employers value the practical skills gained from Functional Skills English, as they are directly applicable to the workplace.

Progress to higher levels of Functional Skills English
Level 2 – progress to GCSE English or use as key to access other learning or career opportunities that require a Level 2 English qualification.

This course is free for all learners over the age of 19 who do not currently have a GCSE Grade C/Grade 4 or above in English.
