Geology is an amazing opportunity to study our planet – it’s an exciting, new science to most, and is completely different to anything you have learnt before. So, if you like the outdoors, beaches, volcanoes, dinosaurs, fossils, oceans and mountains, this might be for you. This course encompasses everything on Earth: landscapes, oceans, atmosphere, and all life there ever has been, in a hands-on, interactive learning way.
Students can progress to study for a degree in Geology, Earth or Environmental Science. Geology graduates are highly sought after by employers, and are amongst the highest paid, with excellent opportunities for travel. Careers are wide ranging and can include environmental management, mining and academic research.
