This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. * Fees are chargeable each year and the fees quoted will be for the current year only, if the course is more than 1 year further fees will be due next year.
The Level 3 Diploma in ICT Competence is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to progress their career within the lucrative IT sector, or to enter higher education. During this apprenticeship, you will learn about data management, emerging digital technologies, cyber security and how to support the smooth running of daily operations.
These qualifications can help you to progress in a wide range of roles within the ICT sector. These include but are not limited to:
Database administrator
Internet/web professional
IT Product developer
IT Technical sales specialist
IT Trainer
Multimedia designer
Network manager
Office equipment service technician
Software developer/Programmer
Systems analyst

Senior Management/Leadership qualifications or roles.
This qualification is comprised of two mandatory units and a wide range of optional units selected to meet national occupation standards or specific vendor requirements:

All mandatory units must be assessed in the workplace, but optional units can be assessed through a wider variety of methods. Occupational competence can be assessed in the workplace by managers, coaches or external assessors.
No formal entry requirements however, you will be interviewed and a decision made as to your suitability to the programme.
