This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. * Fees are chargeable each year and the fees quoted will be for the current year only, if the course is more than 1 year further fees will be due next year.
This advanced level vocational course involves theoretical and practical study of computing and information technology. You will learn in a specialist information technology classroom with a dedicated range of hardware and software. The course includes reports, exams, practical and portfolio pieces representative of the workplace, whether working as a software or hardware-based specialist.
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in IT
Students have gone on to university courses such as Computing, Cyber Security, and Game Developent. Employment options include technical support, software developers and fraud analysts. Alternatively there are apprenticeships available within the computing field.

A minimum of five GSCEs at grade 4, including English and/or maths or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit grade and GSCEs at grade 4, including English and/or maths.
