This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. You will develop the fundamental skills, knowledge and behaviours to help you take a step closer to working in the industry or progression to a higher level. You will learn the basics of how to handle and take care of a range of animals at our Walford Animal Unit, Equine Centre and Farm.
City and Guilds Level 1 in Land-based Studies
Study options may include Level 2 in Animal Care, Agriculture or Equine Management or apprenticeships. Further employment options may include voluntary positions, assistant animal technician, farm technician, assistant dog walker or apprentice.
