Operations managers understand how their role supports the broader organisational structure. They apply codes of
practice, legislation, and regulations relevant to their organisation’s operations. This encompasses legal and ethical
responsibilities, as well as equity, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and the sustainability impacts of the
organisation.
As a minimum, apprentices should:
· participate in and complete on-programme training to meet the KSBs as outlined in the occupational standard for a
minimum of 12 months
· undertake 20% off-the-job training as arranged by the employer and training provider
· understand the purpose and importance of EPA
· undertake the EPA including meeting all gateway requirements
Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level before taking the End-Point
Assessment. You must therefore either have this level of qualification or be assessed and be able to achieve this
level before completing the apprenticeship.
