This 1-day course is for the Award in Safe use of Pesticides Handheld Applicators (PA6). This
training course is designed for spray operators and pest control technicians who require a certificate
for pesticide applications using a handheld sprayer.

Decontamination of the sprayer and protective

8th October 2026 with the assessment on 9th October 2026
9th March 2027 with the assessment (1/2 a day) on10th March 2027
11th May 2027 with the assessment (1/2 a day) on either 12,14 May 2027
13th July 2027with the assessment (1/2 a day) on either 14,16 July 2027

Equipment
Candidates should bring wellingtons and spray overalls (minimum type 6 for chemicals).
The NPTC assessment will take place on a separate day; a time will be allocated to you during your training.
Applicants must be 19 years or above to enrol on this course and have achieved the Award in Safe Use of Pesticides Foundation Module (PA1).
* Fees are chargeable each year and the fees quoted will be for the current year only, if the course is more than 1 year further fees will be due next year.
