Incorporating a wide range of skills, including carpentry, brickwork, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, etc., this apprenticeship looks to develop the skills needed to effectively manage a range of property types across domestic and commercial settings. Alongside the associated practical skills, apprentices on this programme will also learn the key aspects of health and safety, industry legislation, and trade principles, making them a valuable asset to employers in the maintenance sector, and/or organisations with wider estates teams.
A certificate of completion from the Institute for Apprenticeships.
City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma Property Maintenance.
Trade specific qualifications (e.g. Level 2 Diploma in Brickwork/ Carpentry), employment in the construction/maintenance sector
Suitable employment on or prior to starting the apprenticeship training programme.
An appropriate level of maths and English (assessed prior to apprenticeship start)
Apprentices without English or maths (at Level 2 for a Level 3 Apprenticeship or Level 1 for a Level 2 Apprenticeship) must achieve this prior to taking the End Point Assessment).
We can support you to achieve the desired level of maths and English, through functional skills taught sessions which are mandatory to attend as part of your programme (you cannot achieve your apprenticeship without the required level of maths and English).
