As part of our Adult & Community Learning programme of short courses, we are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational hourly paid tutor of Cake Decoration to join our team of excellent tutors at our Oswestry Campus.
The successful applicant will deliver short courses in Cake Decoration to give learners an introduction into the subject. Classes are aimed initially at beginners but can be adapted if learners wish to progress further. Students are adults ranging from 19 to 90+ years of age!
Classes run term time only, ideally on Friday mornings, usually three hours per week for 4 to 6 weeks. However, this is negotiable and flexible to meet the needs of the tutor. All courses run subject to a minimum enrolment target.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the subject and credible experience as a practitioner. They should possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have a passion for sharing their subject with others.
