About the course

This course aims to provide you with the skills and methods employed in basic carpentry such as:

  • Tools and their usage

  • Basic joints

  • Fitting and fixing mouldings and hinges and hinging techniques

  • Locks, latches and letter plates

  • Fitting door handles

  • Scribing to irregular surfaces

You will need:

  • Protective clothing and footwear

  • (Equipment will be provided)
