We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced hourly paid herdsperson for our Walford farm. The role will include relief milking and calf rearing. The farm includes a commercial herd of 170 dairy cows in an Autumn block calving, pasture-based system. Our cows are housed overwinter. We have invested in our parlour, calf rearing and health monitoring systems. Our grazing system includes tracks onto a New Zealand style grazing system.
An increased number of hours are available over the Autumn Calving period.
