They are a well established destination in the UK, with 9 guest bedrooms, 80 cover restaurant, bar and new well-being spa facilities.
Their restaurant aims to be a leading hospitality business in ‘seed to plate’ food and drink, whilst dedicating its operation to becoming zero carbon and environmentally conscious, with their extensive gardens, smallholding and grounds.
The Riverside at Aymestrey is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Senior Front of House member to join their friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys creating memorable experiences and is ready to take the next step towards a leadership role.
The role:
- Welcoming guests warmly and creating a positive first impression
- Providing friendly, professional and attentive service throughout the guest experience
- Taking accurate food and drink orders and communicating effectively with the kitchen
- Serving food and drinks efficiently and to consistently high standard
- Helping set up, maintain and close down the restaurant, bar and front of house areas
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout the shift
- Help and support all the team to ensure operations run smoothly
- Process payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures
- Learn food, drink and wine menus, as well as provenance and local offerings
- Support the training and development of newer team members as your experience grows
- Helping to lead shifts and coordinate the front of house team under the guidance of senior management
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver outstanding guest experience and continue to grow and improve the offering
- Deal with guest feedback professionally, helping to resolve any issues
- Follow and assist with all company, food safety, and health and safety policies
Desired skills:
- Confident communicator
- Good attention to detail
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Some knowledge of food, drink and wine is useful
- Hardworking and willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Some confidence with IT systems, for use of payment devices, EPOS, and other management systems

Desired qualifications:
- GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above
