This one-day course covers the use of abrasive wheel machines used for grinding or cutting. It includes inspecting abrasive wheels and machines for damage, selection, fitting and adjustment of an abrasive wheel and the operation of an abrasive wheel machine within a specific industrial environment.
The qualification certificate will state either “bench mounted” or “portable handheld” plus “electric” driven”.
If you use abrasive wheel machines for cutting or grinding as part of your work,for example in landscaping, building and construction, demolition, salvage and workshops, this qualification will test your competence.
