This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. Gain practical experience of tractor fieldwork, estate skills and a range of stock tasks, as well as being given an opportunity to visit relevant shows and exhibitions. You can gain certification in one of the following certificates of competence: telehandler, all- terrain vehicles, shearing or tractor driving. You will experience work in a range of agricultural areas through practical sessions on the College farm. This will be underpinned by your theoretical classroom work and backed up with relevant work experience in the industry.
Study options may include Level 3 Agriculture, Intermediate or Advanced Apprenticeship in Agriculture. Employment options may include agriculture and allied industries.
