Administration qualifications are adaptable to almost any organisation. Candidates will gain transferable skills through the qualification, enabling them to be adaptable and suited to a variety of different job roles in a range of work environments. Those working in this field often carry out the day-to-day activities which ensure an organisation is running efficiently and profitably, whilst keeping staff and customers happy. The typical business administrator will have great communication skills, whilst being a presentable and professional ‘people person’ with a pleasant attitude.
A certificate of completion from the Institute for Apprenticeships.
Apprentices can progress onto a level 3 business administrator, team leader or a departmental or operational managerapprenticeship.
Course Content:
Complete training to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) outlined in the apprenticeship standard.
Complete training towards English and mathematics qualifications in line with the apprenticeship funding rules (where required).
Compile a portfolio of evidence typically containing 16 to 18 discrete pieces of work-based evidence.
Development of interview and presentation skills.
The programme is delivered entirely through workplace skills assessment and online 1:1 tutoring sessions.
At the completion of all on programme learning all apprentices will complete an End Point Assessment. Thiswill involve a 60-minuteinterview based on portfolio of evidence, and a 20-minutepresentation followed by20 minutes of questioning.
Suitable employment on or prior to starting the apprenticeship training programme.
An appropriate level of maths and English (assessed prior to apprenticeship start)
Apprentices under 19 years old at the start of their apprenticeship without English or maths (Level 1 for a
Level 2 Apprenticeship) must achieve this prior to taking the End Point Assessment).
