About the course

This course is for anyone with the desire to express their creativity through writing.

Through teaching, discussion and practice you will gain an understanding of what is required to create your own work. The tutor also provides an online forum within which you can discuss, interact, ask questions or just chat. The forum is only for the students within the class.

Materials – Simple writing equipment including a notebook or pad for each session

Dr Richard Wood is an author and academic in the field of Creative Writing. He has written over forty books and has maintained a successful career writing and marketing his own novels. His qualifications include BA Scriptwriting, MA Creative Writing and PhD Literary and Critical Studies. He has also taught Creative Writing to MA level as well as supervising students completing their MA thesis.
