About the course

This practical 10 week evening course (one evening per week for 10 weeks 6pm -8pm) is designed for candidates who want to gain a recognised qualification in welding. This course is for professional welders who want a recognised qualification and upgrade their skills. It gives candidates the chance to use the extensive workshop facilities at Holme Lacy College’s Rural Crafts Centre and to draw on the knowledge of expert tutors to develop and consolidate welding skills.

Candidates work at their own pace to develop skills in either: Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA); Metal Inert GasWelding (MIG); Oxy-Acetylene Welding or Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding.

PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE IS NOT A COMBINATION OF ALL THREE.
