As part of the ongoing development of the Foundation Studies curriculum offer at HLNSC, we are seeking to complement our existing delivery team with a tutor in this well-established area of provision.
Lecturer in Entry Level 3 Land-Based Studies
Start date: September 2024
Hourly Paid £26.95-£29.57 (includes holiday pay)
The role will involve the delivery of teaching and assessment of Entry Level 3 Land-Based Studies. This post will also involve the embedding of development of personal and social development skills, communication skills and embedding English and Maths skills to full time learners aged 16 to 19.
Applicants should have relevant experience of working with and supporting disadvantaged young people in the education, social services, or voluntary sector. Teaching experience within a Secondary or Further Education environment would be desirable. Equally as important, the successful candidate will have an empathy with, and passion for, supporting and progressing disadvantaged young people and be willing to go that extra mile in meeting and responding to student needs as and when they arise.
